Corporate Social Responsibility
Equitix believes that the same principles and high standards applied throughout the investment lifecycle should be reflected in the way in which we run our own business.
Our commitment to corporate social responsibility is driven by core values of trust, partnership and excellence, and continues to evolve across 4 key pillars:

Corporate Social Responsibility in Practice
The Equitix Foundation
Established in 2021, the Equitix Foundation has been set up to support charities connected to the communities served by Equitix assets. The Foundation empowers all Equitix employees to identify meaningful causes which are:
- Important to our people and tells a personal Equitix story
- A smaller charity, rather than a big name, where the Foundation’s donation can make a really big difference
- Related to the communities served by our investments
The Foundation is overseen by a committee, which is composed of representatives from across each of the Equitix teams. The role of the Committee is to select charities which meet the Foundation’s goals and to encourage colleagues to raise charitable ideas for the Foundation to support. Equitix matches charitable donations made by employees, up to 1% of the total Equitix payroll.
Causes supported to date include:
Our online charity auction raised £130,000 in support of:
- British Exploring Society – wilderness expeditions and workshops for young people from deprived backgrounds in schools within the Equitix portfolio
- Student Minds – expanding the mental health charter, community building and student accommodation provider training programmes for the UK’s student mental health charity
- Little Miracles – sensory play, education, life-skills sessions and training in bereavement counselling for children with additional needs, disabilities or life-limiting conditions and their families
Equitix Race to the US
- Over eight weeks from February 1 to April 1, members of the Equitix team walked, ran, rowed, swam and cycled 20,000 miles to raise money for Highland Hospice and Carney’s Community
- They journeyed virtually, as teams, from London to Glasgow, then to our European offices in Milan, Frankfurt and Madrid, into Asia, the Middle East, and then across the Atlantic to New York
- Staff raised £7,294
Uptree Partnership

Equitix has formed a partnership with Uptree allowing us to connect with young people before they leave school or college. Uptree's mission is to provide students with access to first-hand careers advice, to build their confidence and to connect them directly with industry professionals. Talking to professionals outside of a school setting, in a professional environment, helps to raise awareness of careers and the aspirations of young people.
Uptree’s social mission is an inspiring one and aligns with Equitix’s Diversity & Inclusion message.
