Equitix announces final close of its second European infrastructure vintage closing at €1.4bn

Equitix today announced the successful final close of its Second European Infrastructure Vintage, including its most recent commingled European Infrastructure Investment Fund, (EQUITIX EURO FUND II) and associated co-investment funds and vehicles with a total of €1.4bn in commitments, deploying capital across a range of high-quality assets. This European vintage was launched in December 2021.

This milestone marks a significant achievement in our commitment to investing in essential infrastructure across Europe. The fund has a robust portfolio diversification, with investments spanning five critical infrastructure sub-sectors; social infrastructure, renewable power, transport, network utilities and digital infrastructure. Additionally, these investments are geographically diversified across six European countries, Germany, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Finland and Ireland.

Equitix Euro Fund II is on track to achieve its target return of 12% IRR across the fund life*, reflecting our disciplined investment approach and strong asset performance. Together with co-investment capital, the European fundraising effort has reached €1.4 billion, underscoring strong investor confidence and support.

Furthermore, the fund is classified under Article 9 of the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), highlighting our commitment to sustainable and responsible investing.

The Fund’s sustainable investment objective is to make investments which generate positive impact towards four sustainable investment themes, each of which are underpinned by a selection of relevant UN Sustainable Development
