Equitix strengthens European platform following $20bn milestone with senior appointments in Capital Formation and Investments
Equitix today announces the appointment of Angelica Becker as Director of Capital Formation, Europe and Dominik Damaschke as Managing Director, Investments and Head of the DACH region, effective October 2026, as part of its continued investment in the platform.
The appointments reflect Equitix’s strong momentum in Europe, where it continues to build on its position as a leading mid-market investor, supported by a growing on-the-ground presence and deepening institutional investor relationships across key markets.
Angelica brings over 15 years’ of experience across capital markets, leveraged finance and institutional investor coverage. She joins Equitix from IKAV, where she was responsible for investor relations and fundraising across the DACH and international markets, with a focus on energy infrastructure strategies. Prior to this, she held senior roles at SEB, including Head of Leveraged Finance Germany, where she led mid-cap transaction origination and execution for private equity clients. Her appointment significantly enhances Equitix’s European fundraising capability and further strengthens its coverage of institutional investors across the DACH and Nordic regions, a core pillar of the firm’s European strategy.
Dominik will bring over 14 years of infrastructure investment experience spanning the energy transition, transport and digital infrastructure sectors across Europe and USA. He will be joining Equitix from MEAG, the asset manager of Munich Re and ERGO Group, where he most recently served as Head of Infrastructure Equity with a strong track record of originating and executing transactions across the DACH region. At Equitix, he will lead investment activity across the DACH region, focusing on sourcing and executing opportunities, deepening local partnerships and building out the firm’s on-the-ground presence.
Together, these appointments reflect Equitix’s continued investment in its European platform, strengthening both its capital formation and investment capabilities across the region. Furthermore, in January, Equitix appointed Kyle Coveny as Managing Director, Capital Formation and Investor Relations, previously of BlackRock, further enhancing the firm’s product capabilities and its engagement with institutional investors globally.
Paul Winters, COO (Corporate) Equitix, said:
“Surpassing $20 billion in assets under management marks an important milestone for Equitix and reflects the strength of our strategy in the mid-market. As we continue to grow, investing in our people and platform is essential to maintaining that momentum. Angelica strengthens our European capital formation capability and will help us deepen our relationships with institutional investors, while Dominik will enhance our investment leadership in the DACH region, one of our key strategic markets. Alongside Kyle’s recent appointment, these additions reflect our continued investment in the business and our ability to develop products, deploy capital and partner with investors over the long term.”
Together, these hires reflect a deliberate strategy to scale Equitix’s platform in line with its growth, ensuring the firm is well positioned to deploy capital, originate opportunities and serve its investor base across Europe and beyond.
