Hornsea One Acquisition

Equitix is pleased to share news of its latest acquisition, purchasing an additional stake in Hornsea One offshore windfarm, located off the North-East coast of England.

For this important acquisition, we continue our partnership with TRIG (InfraRed Capital Partners Ltd) and our other co-shareholders, Global Infrastructure Partners and Ørsted – a partnership which is essential to the continued success of the Hornsea One asset and securing the production of the green energy it generates for more than 1 million homes and businesses.

We are particularly proud of this increased investment into Hornsea one, which is the world’s largest operating offshore wind farm. This sizeable investment helps to further demonstrate our commitment to renewable energy and our strategic commitment to support the goal of a net carbon future.

Congratulations to our partners, our investment team in particular, Achal Bhuwania, Rowland Flynn, Matt Fitzpatrick and all the hard-working teams on the ground who continue to make Hornsea One a success and part of a positive vision for the future.
