Investable Hydrogen Value Chain in Scotland

Equitix, in association with Addleshaw Goddard today release a significant report into building an investable hydrogen value chain in Scotland:

“Hydrogen Report: turning ambition into delivery”, shining a spotlight on the opportunity for the Scottish economy to deliver a truly tangible hydrogen economy.

The report explores the current position of hydrogen and the Scottish economy, the economic opportunities and the challenges that exist for building the investment case. Scotland is already home to significant renewable energy capacity, and the potential pipeline of projects is set to see that dramatically increase in the years ahead:

“Scotland has a key role to play in the development of a UK hydrogen economy, with potential to produce industrial-scale quantities of hydrogen from offshore and onshore wind resources, wave and tidal power, as well as CCUS, supported by a strong company base and valuable skills and assets in oil and gas, offshore wind and energy systems.”  Rt Hon Graham Stuart Department for Energy Security and Net Zero

Equitix has been investing into Scotland since 2012 with a dedicated, local team in Glasgow investing and managing critical assets in Renewable Energy, Education and Health and is committed to continuing growth in the region.

The report was created with input from Suzanne Moir at Addleshaw Goddard and team and Andrew Munro, Development Director for Equitix.  Read the report here: https://lnkd.in/eGjqc7b6
