Equitix are pleased to announce the reaching of financial close on our Irish Community Nursing Unit Project .

This €250m greenfield development project is a Design, Build, Finance and Maintenance project for 7 new Community Nursing Units across Ireland.

The project will play a vital part in responding to the challenges of Ireland’s ageing population and is considered a vital important social and national healthcare project. The projects aim is to improve access to high quality elderly and long-term care throughout Ireland, replacing the existing units.

The new CNUs are based on a person-centred approach giving to the residents the opportunity to lead their own lives in an environment reproducing the comforts of home, according with their cognitive and physical abilities. The main purpose is to normalise care and promote the person’s autonomy in everyday tasks, while providing care and assistance.

This project sees Equitix reaffirm its commitment to investment in Ireland.

Congratulations to our team involved in this project, particularly, Craig Young, Michael McBrearty, Lalit Tulsiani and our partners at Equitix Management Services Limited (EMS) and Liam Roche.

Equitix will deliver services to the Health Service Executive Ireland, and was supported on this deal by European Investment Bank (EIB), NORD/LB, Bank of Ireland, our contractors John Sisk & Son Ltd, service providers, Sensori Facilities Management Ltd and MSA provider, Equitix Management Services Limited (EMS).
