Bridgwater Resource Recovery

Bridgwater Resource Recovery is an energy from waste (EfW) plant near Bridgwater. Construction commenced in November 2018 and was due for completion in March 2021. Takeover took place in November 2021. The plant has an operational life of 25 years.

The plant is capable of combusting up to 133,000 tonnes per annum of refuse-derived fuel and has a generating capacity of 7.75MWe.

Equitix Fund IV LP owns 66.7% of the project.
