Andy Lee is the Managing Director in the Business Development Team and the country representative in Equitix Korea.

Andy believes that the investor relationship is one of the most valuable assets for the infrastructure fund manager. Due to the nature of infrastructure asset class, the manager should be able to understand the long-term goals from the investors’ point of view offering versatile options.

Since September 2018, when Andy joined Equitix, he has successfully introduced Equitix core funds as well as co-investment opportunities to many Korean institutional investors.

Andy has more than 20 years of extensive cross border experience in infrastructure and project financing industry. He worked with top-tier Korean clients including financial institutions, infrastructure developer, and industrial clients. He conducted a pivotal role to establish the Macquarie Korea Infrastructure Fund (“MKIF”), the first and only listed infrastructure fund in Korea.

Prior to joining Equitix, he was an Associate Director at Mirae Asset Global Investments focusing on Alternatives, Infrastructure, Utilities & Renewables, and Project Finance transactions. He also spent 10 years at Macquarie Capital carrying out key role in infrastructure investment and advisory. He started his professional career as an accountant and auditor in the PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Korea.
