David HardingManaging Director, Finance

David Harding is Managing Director for the Fund Finance Department. David oversees the fund finance team responsible for financial structuring, management and reporting for all Equitix core infrastructure funds, managed accounts and their underlying holding companies.

He is actively involved in the structuring and development of new investment vehicles, new investment appraisal as a member of the Fund Investment Committee, implementing of fund financing solutions across the fund lifecycle including subscription and NAV facilities, and in ongoing assessment of investment NAV through his position on the Valuation Committee. David also takes an active role in Equitix fund and asset optimisation functions and has held key asset board positions such as Chair of the HS1 Audit and Finance Committee.

Since joining Equitix in 2010, David has been instrumental in structuring, investing and optimising multiple generations of Equitix investment vehicles and is passionate about driving optimal returns to our investors.

Prior to joining Equitix, David trained with Deloitte LLP in the Energy, Infrastructure and Utilities Audit Department where he gained experience of a wide variety of companies. David is a qualified chartered accountant (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales). He has a first class Masters Degree in Earth Sciences from Oxford University and a DPhil in Climate Change and Ocean Circulation.
