Hugh CrossleyChief Executive Officer

Hugh co-founded Equitix in 2007 and serves as the group’s Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Investment Committee.

He is responsible for much of Equitix’s growth and its strategic direction. He has Board responsibility for the business development team and has spearheaded the establishment of Equitix’s funds.

He is actively involved in the majority of Equitix larger acquisitions including successful acquisitions of John Laing, JLIF, Sheringham Shoal, Electricity North West and High Speed 1.

Prior to joining Equitix, Hugh was Commercial Manager at John Laing where he sourced and delivered investments in social infrastructure, including Bart’s and the Royal London Hospital. Prior to John Laing, he worked for Bechtel Enterprises both in London and the United States, working in the power, airport development and civil sectors.

Hugh graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Environmental and Ecological Engineering from the University of Newcastle. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
