Geoff is a founding director of Equitix and served as Group Chief Executive Officer until 2022. Geoff has now retired from Equitix, but continues to act as adviser to the Group CEO and sits on the Equitix Investment Committee Boards.

Since founding Equitix in 2007, Geoff successfully built and led a team of professionals who together developed and managed a growing and diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects. Geoff led a number of Equitix initial investments, particularly in the education sector, achieving financial close on the Greenwich and Essex Building Schools for the Future (BSF) projects, partnering with Babcock and Skanska respectively. Since stepping down and retiring in April 2022, Geoff no longer performs any executive functions on behalf of the company, but continues as an independent member of the investment committees for all the Equitix funds.

Geoff has over 50 years of development, investment and construction industry experience. Prior to founding Equitix, he was Managing Director of Programme Management with Skanska Infrastructure Development, running all PPP bidding and, in particular, was responsible for leading the team that produced the winning proposal for the £1.4 billion Bart’s and the Royal London Hospital private finance initiative (PFI) bid. Prior to joining Skanska, he was the divisional director at Bovis Lend Lease responsible for some of the first UK PFI healthcare projects. Geoff is a Chartered Builder (Member of the Chartered Institute of Building).
