John HaanManaging Director, Business Development

John Haan is Managing Director for Business Development and Investor Relations. John is responsible for leading the Business Development team and for all capital raising of funds, co-investments and managed accounts across the Equitix business. He is also a member of the pre-screening Fund Investment Committee.

Since joining Equitix in 2009 John has been committed to working with investors and limited partners from the initial outreach and onboarding processes through to ongoing reporting and long-term relationship management.

John has played a key role in the capital raising and establishment of all of the core funds and since 2014 has developed Equitix’s co-investment and managed account offering which encompasses commingled co-investment funds, single investor co-investment managed accounts and bespoke investment mandates.

John has 20 years of industry experience, previously working at BDO before joining Equitix. He is a qualified chartered accountant (ICAEW – FCA) and holds a BA (Honours) in Theology and Religious Studies from Bristol University.
