Peter HardingHead of Social Infrastructure

Peter is a Director in our Asset Management Team, based in the London office.  He oversees the Social Infrastructure sector and leads a team responsible for the management of assets, across the globe, in excess of £2.0bn AUM.

In addition to the sector portfolio management responsibilities, Peter is appointed as Director on the Board of a number of assets within the sector, spanning Acute Healthcare, Community Healthcare, Mental Health Facilities, Student Accommodation, Social Housing and Defence.  He is passionate about ensuring consistent service delivery to clients, and their service users, whilst ensuring stable investor returns.  Peter’s expertise include pre-close, construction, ongoing operational management and handback and he is experienced at dealing with multiple project stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of services.

Peter joined Equitix in 2021 from Equitix Management Services where he had spent 3 years leading the London Finance team, delivering a comprehensive and ‘value-add’ Finance and Company Secretarial MSA service.  Prior to that Peter was at Imagile Infrastructure Management, where he gained a breadth of experience in SPV management, in particular the PFI sector.  He worked for multiple client Funds including JLIF, IRCP, DIF, Amber, Aviva, Dalmore and Equitix.  Peter has 19 years’ experience in various accounting and finance roles, with 11 years specifically in the infrastructure and PPP sector.

Peter is a qualified Chartered Director with the Institute of Directors.  He is also a qualified Chartered Management accountant (CIMA), and previously graduated from the University of Oxford with a First-Class undergraduate Master’s degree in Biochemistry, and a PhD in Membrane Protein Biochemistry.
