Robbie Gillespie is Finance Director and heads up the Optimisation & Management team which is charged with being the custodians of Equitix’s mature Funds and Managed Accounts.

Robbie is committed to ensuring the production of quality statutory and management information for multiple stakeholders, whilst implementing process efficiencies to enable focus on value add and value protection workstreams.

Robbie is passionate about growing a team of talented and experienced professionals, with a focus on developing home grown talent and promoting a collaborative culture throughout the team and wider business partners.

Robbie’s key achievements at Equitix are varied, and include instrumental matters such as the successful implementation of the outsourcing strategy for the funds administration, project managing the procurement process and ensuring effective handover of responsibilities. Allowing the quality of Fund outputs to be maintained whilst allowing for more focus on value add opportunities.

Prior to joining Equitix, Robbie was part of the Wealth Services Department of Rawlinson & Hunter where he worked on performance reporting of various Funds as well as preparing statutory accounts and accompanying tax returns.

Robbie is ACA qualified and holds a BSc Honours in Economics & Finance from the University of Bristol.
