Simon DavyManaging Director, Investments, London

Simon is a Managing Director in the Equitix Investments team in London.  He joined the business in 2025 to focus on the growth of the investments business, including origination and execution.  He is a member of the Equitix Fund Investment Committee.

Simon has over 30 years of experience in financial services. Prior to joining Equitix he was responsible for building direct infrastructure investment capabilities for UK local government pension capital, acting as Head of Private Markets and latterly as Head of Real Assets for LPPI. He oversaw the growth and facilitated the deployment and management of funds across infrastructure and real estate under local and global mandates covering approximately £7.5 billion in committed capital. Simon has worked with other institutional investors, company management teams and advisers on investing and managing direct stakes in corporate investments across the UK and Europe. Prior to this Simon spent 15 years working at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and 6 years at JPMorgan.

Simon has managed, invested and acted as a board director across various European businesses such as UK ports and mobile telecom towers, Finnish district heating, Spanish gasdistribution and Portuguese wind.  Simon is a graduate from the University of Oxford.
