Thomas MalaneyHead of Fund Establishment

Thomas is Head of Equitix’s Fund Establishment Team. He is responsible for the development, structuring and implementation of Equitix products. He oversees a team that manages each product through set up, fundraising and the deployment stages of their lifecycle.

Thomas is committed to partnering with investors in order to understand their goals and to implement strategic solutions on their behalf.

Prior to joining Equitix, Thomas spent over eight years with Macquarie Asset Management, most recently as Head of Fund Management for their Private Credit division. In this role he was responsible for the development and ongoing management of the business’s investor platform and its operational, regulatory and client servicing requirements. Thomas trained with Deloitte LLP in the Banking and Capital Markets division before spending three years in Switzerland as a Trade Accountant at Glencore AG.

Thomas is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. He has an MPhil in Management and a BA (Hons) in Land Economy from the University of Cambridge, and a BA (Hons) in Economics with French from Durham University.
