North Yorkshire Waste

The North Yorkshire Waste project is a waste management PFI contract with North Yorkshire County Council. The project is fully operational, with a new facility constructed to deliver the contracted services, which commenced operations in 2018.

Revenues are generated through gate fees paid by the council and other third-party suppliers for accepting waste deliveries, alongside sales of electricity generated from the incineration of waste.

The operations and maintenance provider is Thalia Waste Management, previously part of Amey. Equitix is a 66% shareholder.
