David ZimmermanHead of Investments, North America

David joined Equitix in March 2024 as Head of Investments, North America. He is responsible for sourcing and leading the execution of investments within the North American region as well as participating in the asset management work relating to those investment. Additionally, David will assist the Business Development team on related LP-facing activities.

David has 25+ years of experience developing investment strategies across all key infrastructure sub-sectors and originating, structuring, negotiating, and executing over 75 acquisitions and divestitures; growth capital investments, greenfield and brownfield development projects; structured debt investments and commercial contract transactions complemented by commodity market and equity and debt capital raising expertise.

Prior to joining Equitix, David was a Senior Advisor for a Carlyle portfolio company and Nova Infrastructure. For the 12 prior years, David was a Partner with Quintana Infrastructure & Development, a middle-market infrastructure fundless sponsor. David also served as a Director within BNP Paribas’ commodity trading group, associate director with Bear Stearns’ Arroyo Investors group, and corporate development manager at American Electric Power.

David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from The Ohio State University and earned his Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University.
