Biostoom Oostende is an operational biomass power station in Oostende, Belgium. The plant has been operational since September 2009 and has a strong track record of high availability and generation.
The plant can process up to 160 kilotonnes of household waste per annum and has a capacity of 18 MW. It is maintained by an in-house operations and maintenance team with 35-40 staff.
Equitix’s managed funds own 30% of the project.
