Crail Meters Limited

Crail Meters comprises a portfolio of 186,000 industrial and commercial gas and electricity meters which are in operation across the UK. The project is perpetual but requires meters to be updated once they reach the end of their asset life (20 to 40 years).

Crail’s meter portfolio is playing a key role in helping to achieve Net Zero. The data from the meters enable its customers to understand how much energy is being used when and where across their locations. Having this insight means that energy demand can be forecast more accurately, and waste is minimised. This improved insight into energy consumption can drive positive change for the environment, as well as understanding real time energy costs and informing investment decisions.
