Edinburgh Royal Infirmary

The project is an 872-bed, 110,342m2 acute healthcare facility in Edinburgh, Scotland. The project commenced operation in February 2003 and has an initial concession period of 25 years with an option to extend for a further 25 years, by mutual agreement.

Originally full services were delivered to the site but over time certain soft services have been handed back to NHS Lothian with only security, catering and car parking remaining. These services are benchmarked at regular intervals to ensure value for money.

Equitix holds 50% of the issued share capital in the project.
